You will be ideally come from a small business and retail environment with solid experience managing budgets, preparing accounts for the external accountancy as well as reporting, balance sheets and financial accounts and VAT management.
In the varied role could be reconciling invoices across the companies on one day and then making financial forecasts the next.
You must be analytical and comfortable reporting to the board.
You will run an in-house accounting function and act as the main point of contact with the external accounting partner who prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, and audits.
You will work with Operations to organize and implement the monthly stock take as well as manage the junior staff.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified or part qualified
Proficient in accounting software (SAGE preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of invoice reconciliations and ledger accounting
Strong reporting, balance sheets and financial accounts and VAT management.
