As part of the Management Accounting team, you will provide Financial Control and key financial management support to the large and diverse Clinical Division. The post holder will provide managers with high quality financial management information to meet the needs of the Trust, enabling it to deliver value for money and achieve its challenging financial targets. This includes providing expert financial advice, budget management support, and playing a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Trust’s financial plan and Cost Improvement Programme.
We are looking for Individuals with drive, ambition and a passion for excellence. The successful post-holder will be a qualified Accountant with at least one year post qualification experience. Ideally you will have previous NHS provider experience, and possess a desire to work within a progressive organisation.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and explain financial concepts and information to non-financial managers, and an ability to demonstrate initiative. Excellent communication and IT skills (including Microsoft Excel) are also essential. Critical to the role is the ability to develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to challenge and influence others.
The post holder will also ensure processes are efficient, effective and consistent across all areas they support, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
