Job Description
- Strategic direction of the group finance function ensuring the finance function delivers reliable and compliant service to the group of companies.
- Responsible for the effective leadership and line management of the Finance team which includes Management Accounts, Payables and the Payroll and HR functions.
- Strategic oversight of the IT function with line management of the IT director.
- Owns relationships with external finance providers including banks and asset finance lenders.
- Trusted adviser to the Owners on private wealth, property, and pension matters.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, or ACCA
- Proven Finance Director with at least five years' experience in a similar size company
- Self-motivated and task driven.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
