Job Description
  • Support production of monthly Bank consolidation file
  • Review consolidation journals
  • Review profit by clusters 
  • Review consolidated quarterly reports, including raising review comments and providing challenge to Bank divisions
  • Prepare intercompany dividends and interest free funding calculations
  • Review and prepare the Office of National Statistics Return
  • Manage the timetable for Bank submissions of interim and year end packs
  • Produce high quality interim and year-end financial reports, including the Bank’s financial statements
  • Support production of accounting papers where necessary
  • Support the creation of a robust control environment across the Bank and process improvement initiatives

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills including a good track record of delivering effective reporting under pressure and to tight business-critical deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Evidence of working well within teams and proven ability to engage with a variety stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Strong technical background
  • IT literate with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Qualified Accountant, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
  • Degree educated or equivalent
