Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Prepare financial accounts and management reports for Directors
- Analyze financial data to support business growth
- Manage Purchase and Customer invoicing, including batch imports to Sage 200
- Process bank payments and receipts, reconcile accounts, and handle forex transactions
- Maintain fixed asset register and record depreciation
- Oversee customer credit control and electronic bank payments to suppliers
- Manage multiple companies with linking accounts and file VAT returns electronically to HMRC
- Record accruals and prepayments, and prepare budgets and forecasts
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through rigorous controls
- Build relationships with external auditors and manage and develop junior team members
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Proficiency in Excel and a high level of IT literacy required
- Bright, proactive, and detail-oriented individual
- Flexible and adaptable work style, able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
- Resilient and able to work well under pressure, balancing reactive and proactive tasks
- Hands-on approach and ability to work well in a team environment
