Job Description
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for the company.
- Prepare and submit external financial reports, including tax returns, regulatory filings, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports to support business decisions.
- Manage the company's cash flow, including monitoring and forecasting cash flow requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Auditing
- Consolidated Financial Statements
- Reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part-qualified candidates - ACCA, ACA or CPA.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial reporting and preparing financial statements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in the shipping industry is a plus.
