Job Description
  • Collect outstanding client balances on a timely basis
  • Update the Sales Ledger and maintain its integrity
  • Conduct the invoice/credit note batch runs on a periodic basis
  • Address all internal and external invoicing queries
  • Monitor risky accounts to highlight possible bad debt/delinquent payers
  • Provide reports on monthly sales and debtors performance on a periodic basis
  • Process purchase invoices and daily cashbook transactions
  • Oversee the finance inbox
  • Provide support and cover for colleagues, when required
  • Adhoc accounting duties, including analysis of financial transactions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • At least two years’ finance experience
  • Demonstrable experience in ledger reconciliation and credit control
  • Advanced Excel skills (using pivots, sums, filters, etc.)
  • International exposure and experience working with multiple entities would be desirable
  • Good working knowledge of sales taxes (VAT rates in the UK, EU, and others)
