Job Description
- Manage all statutory financial reporting under UK and US GAAP for the UK and Irish entities
- Ensuring the integrity of accounting processes through effective financial controls
- Financial planning and analysis, business support, management reporting as well as other finance operations.
- Providing financial leadership and align business and finance strategy to achieve growth plans and manage costs
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, communicating risk to Group finance
- Drive business improvement initiatives for improved cost reduction, procurement, pricing and process improvements to add value to the organization.
- Lead relationships with banks, insurance brokers, tax advisors and auditors.
- Line management responsibility for Business Operations, Commercial Management and facilities
- Accountable for ensuring the compliance of the UK office with applicable health and safety requirements.
- Building a high performing and motivated team including investing time into talent development
- Business Partnering the Senior Leadership Team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- You will have strategic and commercial acumen, as well as the ability and willingness to be hands-on and exceptional ability to assimilate and present financial information.
- Excellent people skills are essential, collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, dynamic team and providing effective leadership.
- Ideally, you will have previous exposure to a broad remit that may have included other business areas such as possibly IT, legal, compliance, commercial administration etc.
- Being technologically receptive, ideally with experience of overseeing implementation being highly advantageous with an advanced level knowledge of Excel.
