Prepare high-quality and timely monthly financial reports to clients in coordination with respective Programmed Manager, Regional Finance colleagues and partners
Supporting Project Managers in day-to-day project finance management
Facilitate the preparation of monthly invoices to be sent to clients along with the financial and spend reports
Monitor programmer budgets and ensure funds are allocated to agreed budget lines
In coordination with Programmed Managers prepare robust and timely financial forecasting
Work with the programmer’s Procurement and in-country finance teams to prepare forecasting and support the end-to-end finance processes involved
Review and analyses changes to programmer budget in line with corporate and client requirements, proactively identify risks and propose mitigations
Ensuring accurate and consistent journals are posted in accordance with revenue recognition policy.
Working with Project Managers to complete project submission forms and provide commentary on variances and project risk
Processing project submission forms in a timely and efficient manner
Support implementation of best practice processes and continually seek opportunities to innovate and improve performance
Undertaking any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participates in training and development procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, with previous experience of working with international government donors.
You will need to be a confident communicator, have an impeccable work ethic, take pride in the work that you do and be able to manage to direct reports.
