Job Description
- Full responsibility for the accounting and billing of projects.
- Review preliminary invoices for appropriate labor, expense charges, billing rates, fees
- Fixed fee and Time and Materials projects and revenue recognition
- Participate in weekly team meetings with Partners and Project Managers to ensure project compliance
- Review and analyze the financial condition of each project (accrual and cash) on a monthly basis
- Advise the Project Manager and Project Accounting Manager as to the material variances from budget to actual
- Manage financial aspects of consultant relationships
- Update outstanding receivable statements, billing summaries and consultant summaries
- Issue project performance reports accurately and promptly
- Analyze all project expenses and providing commentary
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in a project accounting role
- Billing and revenue recognition experience
- Strong excel skills
