Assisting with the preparation monthly management accounts
Preparing balance sheets reconciliation
Complete quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance and keeping up to date with any changes to VAT
Raising sales invoices and debt collection
Assist with the preparation of cashflow
Working closely with and providing support to the wider finance function
Contribute to the delivery of year-end financial statements and corporation tax process.
Prepare departmental reporting and variance analysis partnering with teams across the business to understand costs and performance and drive collective insight
Involvement in projects aimed at driving growth and improving processes
Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc analysis, reporting and projects
Assist with Margins finalizations and reviews
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified or part qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent
Excellent communication and team working skills
Start-up mindset and works well in small teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience using an accounts software would be desirable, currently use Xero
Intermediate Excel
Experience in retail finance is desirable but not essential
