Job Description
  • Collaborate with various departments to prepare and analyses monthly financial accounts.
  •  Handle full-cycle accounting duties, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
  •  Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide insightful reports to support decision-making processes.
  •  Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reconciling bank statements, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring financial transactions.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls.
  •  Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with Italian tax regulations and guidelines.
  •  Communicate effectively with Italian stakeholders, providing guidance on financial matters and addressing inquiries promptly.
  •  Stay updated on Italian accounting standards and regulations, making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
  •  Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.
  •  Assist with external audits by preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring a smooth audit process.
  •  Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business growth.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  •  Strong proficiency in the Italian language, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with Italian stakeholders.
  •  Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, demonstrating knowledge of Italian accounting principles and regulations.
  •  Excellent understanding of journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
  •  Familiarity with fixed assets management and construction in process accounting.
  •  Experience in supporting financial reporting and tax teams during quarter and year-end processes.
  •  Solid knowledge of financial control compliance.
  •  Ability to liaise effectively with local consultants for the preparation and submission of audited financial accounts and tax returns.
  •  Strong organizational and multitasking skills to facilitate audits and handle ad hoc requests.
  •  Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  •  Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
