Undertake daily banking functions including bank reconciliations
The processing of client and office accounting transactions including postings ensuring the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) are followed
Preparation of cheques
Processing of bank transfers
Management of client deposit accounts
Credit control advise and chasing of debt
Administration of purchase ledger
Processing of month end and year end
Process quarterly VAT returns
Administration and ad hoc duties as and when required
Experience required:
Legal cashier experience is essential
Experience using Xero would be a distinct advantage
Experience using "LEAP" case management systems would be a distinct advantage
