Job Description
  • Check and process supplier invoices for payment approval.
  • Scheduling weekly payment runs for approval.
  • Maintaining the supplier database to ensure details are kept current and accurate.
  • Process credit card receipts and reconcile staff credit card accounts on Xero.
  • Process staff expense claims for reimbursement.
  • Send routine reminders (via email or phone call) to customers with outstanding accounts in line with company procedures.
  • Maintaining full and accurate communication trails on Xero to ensure total visibility within the team.
  • Routing queries to relevant departments when accounts are under dispute, supporting teams outside of finance with investigating any issues.
  • Escalate to the Senior Accountant where customers raise issues which are preventing payment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum two years’ experience bookkeeping on Xero
  •  Solid understanding of bookkeeping and VAT legislation
  •  Intermediate Excel skills
