Preparation of the monthly Accounts and collating information of each income stream, analysis and reporting.
Balance Sheet ownership and Analysis
Prepare reports for Senior Management team
Oversee VAT return preparation and compliance
Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Budget and Statutory Year End Accounts
Engagement with key stakeholders both internal and external - build and foster relationships
Identify and develop improvements in processes and reporting
Capture and present information to the business to improve understanding and aid decision making
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need to be an accomplished Accountant with a relevant qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
You will also need to demonstrate a through understanding of accounting principles and effective reporting.
The ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders both financial and non-finance and to build effective relationships will be key to the development of this role.
Some team management skills would also be desirable as would knowledge of key financial systems such as Sage, along with a strong working knowledge of excel.
