You will work with the Group Financial Accountants to refine the consolidation process, reduce reliance on manual and inefficient processes and comply with the agreed internal key controls necessary to move to a controls-based audit.
Work cross-functionally with other teams to provide clear and concise accounting advice on significant and unusual transactions.
Performance of, and compliance with internal controls with respect to the Group's external reporting and continuous improvement of controls.
Preparation and submission of additional ad-hoc management reports and analyses.
Provide key inputs in the preparation and presentation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with the Group's accounting policies.
Provide key inputs in the preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly consolidated and Balance Sheet reporting for internal management reporting purposes, including undertaking consolidated balance sheet and analytical reviews.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree in accounting or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution
Actively working towards professional accounting
Maintaining ledgers of Holding companies, Head Office
Previous consolidation experience
You will be calm under pressure with Excellent written and oral English communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence management.
You will be highly analytical with strong excel skills and take pride in your work and relationships.
