Job Description
- Ensure the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts, including all associated financial analysis and commentary.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial and commercial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Deliver management information to the board of directors in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key trends, issues and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including the senior management team and external auditors.
- Ensure the effective operation of financial systems, processes and controls, including the production of relevant financial reports.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The successful candidate will ideally be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a proven background in a Management Accounting role.
- You will be confident using Excel, with experience analyzing multiple data sets using financial models.
- Candidates will have demonstrable experience presenting to exec level stakeholders and will be confident presenting financial data as well as influencing key decisions.
- Some technical accounting knowledge would be significantly advantageous given the current small size of the finance team and the need to deliver year end technical accounting submissions.
- Previous experience using Xero or other cloud accounting packages would also be highly desirable.
