Job Description
- Managing a portfolio of clients' accounts, ensuring their accounts are kept up to date and accurate.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax issues.
- Preparing accounts, tax returns, and other financial statements for clients.
- Ensuring all accounting and tax deadlines are met.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and development.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of five years' experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong IT skills including experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
