Job Description
- Process and maintain - Purchase, Sales, and General Ledgers
- Daily Credit Card Sales - Reconcile with Sales Analysis
- Deal with Cash Book and Cashflow.
- Make daily payments to Suppliers and individuals
- Quarterly VAT Returns - Prepare and submit to HMRC
- To deal with HMRC queries
- Prepare salary details to submit external provider to produce monthly payroll.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Purchase Ledger
- Sage Line
- Sales Ledger
- Trial Balance
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Knowledge of accounting software (Sage 50)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Data entry skills and analyzing information
- Attention to detail
- Good IT Skills including website experience and use of Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong English writing and reading
- Ability to work independently, motivated self-starter
- Ability to operate basic office equipment
- Professionalism and confidentiality
