Job Description
  • Process and maintain - Purchase, Sales, and General Ledgers
  • Daily Credit Card Sales - Reconcile with Sales Analysis
  • Deal with Cash Book and Cashflow.
  • Make daily payments to Suppliers and individuals
  • Quarterly VAT Returns - Prepare and submit to HMRC
  • To deal with HMRC queries
  • Prepare salary details to submit external provider to produce monthly payroll.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sage Line
  • Sales Ledger
  • Trial Balance
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Sage 50)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Data entry skills and analyzing information
  • Attention to detail
  • Good IT Skills including website experience and use of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Strong English writing and reading
  • Ability to work independently, motivated self-starter
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
