Preparation of divisional management accounts and submit monthly for consolidation by business
Month end balance sheet reconciliations
Responsible for handling audit questions
Preparation of tax returns
Business partnering with and appropriately challenging departmental heads which includes communicating cost performance against budget
Investigation of financial discrepancies
Prepare annual budget at subsidiary level
Ad hoc projects including updating the Finance Manual and Risk Register.
Work alongside the Accounts Payable Supervisor to train and develop staff within the accounts function.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified from a practice background with strong financial reporting skills and knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
