Job Description
  • Raising and issuing invoices
  • Uploading invoices into the company's accounting software
  • Responding to customer queries and managing credit control
  • Maintaining customer details on the company's management system and accounting software
  • Coding and approving supplier invoices
  • Managing sales and purchase ledger
  • Assisting with credit card payments and processing onto the company's accounts software
  • Assembling payment runs and processing through BACS
  • Checking and processing employee expenses
  • Processing bank transactions and reconciliation
  • General administration supporting the effective running of the office

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A general understanding of accounting principles and associated regulatory matters would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
  • Ability to priorities workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in dealing with clients and other members of the professional team
  • Ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
  • Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
