Job Description
- Ensuring that payroll is executed, correctly and on time each month.
- Cost control, including purchase controls and employee expenses.
- Managing VAT and HMRC filings
- Helping with the planning and optimization of internal systems and processes
- Quarter end preparation including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets for UK and International Chapters
- Prepare draft statutory accounts and year end journals for deferred income, prepayments, and accruals.
- Preparing bespoke reports for senior management as well as monthly reporting .
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of five years' experience within finance.
- Experience using an online accounting package
- Experience managing accounts receivable and payables
- Worked on an accountancy system such as Xero or bespoke package.
- Have strong communication and reporting skills
- Intermediate excel
