Management Accounts, prepare consolidated and departmental management accounts, including an analytical review of results and commentary, and communicate underlying trends
Ensure accurate postings to the general ledger and provide insights into any variances.
Balance Sheet reconciliations, prepare month-end Balance Sheet reconciliations for review
XERO administration, ensure the data and functioning of the accounting system is up to date and reliable.
Bank reconciliation, timely reconciliation of bank accounts on Xero ensuring all transactions are posted to the correct account and tax code.
Budgeting, Providing support during the annual budgeting process.
Process Improvement, explore and suggest ways to improve the day-to-day accounting processes.
The role will be responsible for cash management reporting, delivering operational improvements in working capital management and bi-weekly cash reporting.

Post-qualified experience of proven all-round accounting competence in a multi-entity/ group environment ideally gained in a Media business.
Intermediate to advanced excel proficiency.
Intermediate to advanced power point proficiency
Familiar with UK GAAP.
Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Worked in projects that have developed reporting outputs and experience of communicating to the business.
