You will deal with a wide variety of industries and requirements and therefore gain invaluable practice experience.
The preparation of statutory accounts, year-end accounts, or rental accounts (as appropriate) for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
The preparation of corporation and personal tax returns.
The preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping.
Ad-hoc arrangements, either in-house or at a client's premises.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of three or two years relevant previous experience gained working in a firm of accountants, be self-motivated, computer literate and have good written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate may also be working towards a relevant qualification (AAT/ACCA).
Good IT skills, including experience of accounting software programs (Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Accounts) and Microsoft Office.
Effectively communicate information clearly, concisely, and accurately.
