Job Description
  • Day to day running of the Accounts department and supervising one Accounts Assistant.
  • Maintaining and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and procedures.
  • Collecting, analyzing and verifying financial information.
  • Preparing monthly and end of year financial reports.
  • Assist Managing Director with financial information as required.
  • Preparing Management accounts for month and year end.
  • Cashflow preparation and Bank reconciliation.
  • Payroll and statutory returns
  • Sales and purchase ledger
  • VAT returns
  • Bank account management, BACS payments.
  • Associated admin duties.
  • Act in a professional manner at all times
  • Support their colleagues and management at all times
  • Be aware of their environmental responsibility and the company's health and safety objectives.
  • Maintain and develop good working relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with clients and other stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of computerized accounting system. 
  • Naturally conscientious and diligent
  • Able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Excellent PC skills: specifically Excel and Word
  • Admin
