Assist in production of accurate monthly accounts for the finance committee.
Review accounts, report and investigate variances to budget.
Assist Commercial Finance team and business partnering with budget holders in understanding the financial results.
Assist in production of accurate information with commentary for reporting to the board.
Assist in reviewing proposed cheque and BACs payment runs for accuracy.
Assist and provide cover for the management accounts team.
Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and audit process.
Assist in uploading budget and forecast files.
Assist with the preparation of key monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in maintaining accruals and prepayments tracker.
Continuous review and improvements of processes, including maintaining process notes.
Ad-hoc reporting for the business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum two years' experience in a similar finance role with accountability for a budget, and reporting to stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the telephone with individuals and with a wide variety of organizations and audiences.
Ability to analyses complex information and produce clear verbal and written reports.
Ability to work on own initiative, priorities tasks, handle pressure, work to tight deadlines and take day to day decisions in the running of the finance department.
