Job Description
- Leading the team - offering guidance and support to three direct reports ensuring all processes and transactions are completed, correct, and adhered to. Being the go-to person for solving team queries.
- Reviewing and maintaining the current Finance system. After settling into the role and team you will then be required to put forward a business case for implementing and running a new finance system.
- Contributing to both month end and year end. With work on VAT returns and capital grants also included within the role.
- Assisting the wider business with budget spend and planning and forecasting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A confident and proficient Financial Accountant with management experience.
- Able to assist with a business case for a new finance system including the implementation.
- Comfortable with Excel - having the ability to produce reports for differing audiences and delivering messages to key stakeholders and the senior management team.
- Able to act well under pressure - working well on their own or within a team.
- Fully qualified. Part qualified accountants are still advised to apply if all other points are met.
