Job Description
- Preparation of management accounts and supporting commentaries
- Overseeing the divisional reporting
- Reconciling project gross profit to management accounts gross profit, verifying reconciling items
- Supporting the Financial Controller in preparing the consolidated management accounts pack
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation review and approval
- Annual budget, monthly forecasting and strategic plan
- Overseeing the monthly Joint Venture reporting
- Consolidation of flash and tracking versus actuals through the month end close cycle
- Preparation of schedules for statutory audit
- Work closely with internal and external audit
- Liaise with and help lead reporting initiatives with the Divisional Finance Director
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Very strong knowledge of Excel
- Proven track record in producing concise management information
- Experience of working in the construction sector
- Minium two years' people management experience
