Job Description
  •  Managing VAT returns
  •  Producing detailed monthly financial reports and management accounts for the directors
  •  Maintaining up-to-date cash flow forecasts across multiple currency accounts 
  •  Managing the purchase ledger, remittance and payments to suppliers
  •  Processing and filing supplier invoices where required
  • Raising payments via internet banking
  •  Managing the Sales ledger, raising invoices
  •  Credit control and chasing overdue and outstanding debtors
  • Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts and company credit cards
  •  Preparing monthly payroll adjustments
  •  Supervision of the part-time bookkeeper and delegation of the appropriate workload
  •  Month-end stock reconciliations
  •  Reviewing specific job costings
  • Controlling costs/overheads
  •  Maintaining budgets on Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  •  Constantly reviewing and improving existing processes and systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven bookkeeper experience.
  • Qualified by experience, AAT or ACCA.
  •  IT proficient with Xero, Excel.
  • Good communicator and confident speaking with customers and suppliers.
