Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, updating general ledgers, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist with the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external accountants as needed.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Monitor financial transactions and identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support the finance team in various ad hoc tasks as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
