Job Description
  • Daily banking - Posting bank transactions. Monthly bank reconciliations for multiple currency bank accounts.
  • Sales ledger - Credit control, following up with debtor queries and chasing overdue payments. Sending monthly customer statements. Maintaining sales daybook.
  • Purchase ledger - Coding and inputting invoices, supplier statements, payment run preparations twice monthly.
  • Credit card and expenses management.
  • Petty cash management.
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with month end, year end and audits.
  • Producing schedules based on order requirements.
  • Adjusting and managing schedules to adhere to customer demand as well as supply chain adjustments.
  • Ability to manage live projects.
  • General office admin duties, i.e, phone, mail, post office, stationery orders.
  • Manage sales and management team calendars.
  • Customer support and planning.
  • Providing cover for shipping and sales admin departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Studying towards AAT would be advantageous
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • A positive can-do attitude every day, happy to get involved with all areas of the business.
  • Advance working knowledge of Excel is a must (SAP experience desirable)
