Job Description
  • Responsible for book keeping, enter data payments, bank reconsolidations, VAT pay, Gift aid, cheque submissions and salaries
  •  Manage daily account transactions, reconciling payments and receipts between 'Xero’ system and bank statements
  •  Invoicing and payments where applicable
  • Provide financial reports as and when required and work with the external auditors on the finalization of company accounts
  •  Prepare and report on the financial position, to be presented at quarterly trustees meeting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive experience of book keeping and accounts with a high degree of numeracy and logical thinking
  •  Highly developed planning and organization skills and attention for detail
  •  IT literate with knowledge of Accounting software ideally 'Xero’, Microsoft Office software and Internet knowledge
  •  Resilient, articulate, confident, calm and assertive, with effective interpersonal skills demonstrating respect for others and approachability
  •  Ability to work effectively under pressure at times and take instruction to complete tasks in a timely manner
  •  Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly flexible and able to multi-task
  •  Ability to prioritise and work systematically to achieve goals
  •  Interpersonal Skills - being able to communicate at all levels
  •  Financial accounting ,book keeping ability up to Trail Balance using Xero Accounting Software.
  •  Excellent knowledge of budgeting and cash flow forecasting
  • Proficient in MS Office ie Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
