Job Description
- Running a busy accounts department consisting of a small team of accounts assistants
- Be responsible for year-end accounts
- Dealing with queries from other members of the team offering guidance and support
- Overviewing office overhead spending ensuring it is in line with budget
- Liaising with external accountants
- Overviewing fortnightly payroll, producing monthly payroll
- Reporting to and Assisting the Director as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- MAAT, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- Can deal with confidential, personal information with integrity and trust
- Has three years experience in construction accounts dealing with sales ledger, purchase ledger, subcontractor applications and credit control
- Has excellent IT skills
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
