To maintain and develop the Finance vehicle excel database and liaise with Auction Houses and Funders to obtain clearance.
Obtaining HP clearance for 'SOLD’ vehicles, obtaining, and verifying early termination quoted from Funders.
To arrange vehicle funding on a quick turnaround, resolving any drawdown issues with the appropriate Department in according with the agreed process.
To include organising payment runs to Dealers and chasing payments from Funders.
To be the main point of contact for Funders, Dealers and internal department ensuring that internal and external queries are dealt with punctually and professionally.
To include managing the Funding mailbox in a timely manner.
To facilitate Funder audits
To prepare and circulate commission and monthly drawdown report within agreed timescales.
Develop and maintain relevant work instructions for the Funding function.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Accounts experience
Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally internally and externally.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team successfully.
Highly proficient to intermediate level in MS Windows Excel and is very confident with new systems and technology.
Strong negotiation skills
Strong desire to work in a finance environment.
