You will deliver an expert, professional and quality finance business partnering service across the organization on finance, planning, funder reporting and budgetary matters.
You will be involved in some management accounting.
You will support and challenge budget holders and management teams by providing a responsive and flexible service that is business focused and supports the delivery of organizational and service priorities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need a good overall accounting background, have excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative.
Previous experience of finance business partnering is required, as is ability to priorities key tasks.
Qualified accountant
Demonstrable financial business partnering experience
Ability to deliver a high-level professional business service in a Finance role involving provision of advice, support and challenge to managers and staff in a complex organization.
Experience of dealing effectively with donor funding audits or statutory audits.
Understanding of project costing principles, such as activity based costing, and value for money, and an ability to communicate these to internal stakeholders.
