Job Description
- To look after and record as appropriate the company system and ensure compliance.
- To answer incoming phone calls and manage reception desk and some incoming deliveries.
- To assist with routine office admin tasks as required from time to time (e.g. covering staff absence)
- Managing staff holiday entitlement
- Other various office admin tasks as they arise.
- To operate Sage 50 Accounts competently and assist accountants with information needed to produce monthly reports.
- Enter sales invoices.
- Administer the process for checking and approving and paying purchase invoices received.
- Prepare and present weekly finance meeting for directors.
- Make monthly payroll payments.
- Maintain budget spreadsheet.
- Create Customer Account Statements and send out.
- Produce Aged Debtors list and undertake debtor account management.
- Manage and keep records for the Bought and Sales Ledgers
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Make online payments and process incoming payments including preparing bank paying in
- Collate required information for Accountant for quarterly management and year end accounts.
- Assist with raising monthly rental invoices and maintaining records of shared costs, e.g. electricity
- VAT return and make quarterly payments.
