Job Description
- First point of contact for your departments Project related matters.
- Working with department heads and a number of Project Managers covering hundreds of projects
- Analyzing job costs and margin on jobs and producing financial analysis reports on a portfolio of projects
- Reconciliation of the job ledgers to general ledgers
- Monthly project reviews with multiple cost value reconciliations
- Recognition of revenue and margin on jobs using percentage completion methodology
- Ownership of the project ledger and variance analysis to budget
- Providing project accounting information to accounts to facilitate the production of weekly cash flow reports.
- Assisting with adhoc reports and tasks
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Project Accounting experience
- Actively studying for a professional accounting qualification
