Produce accurate profit and loss and balance sheets to tight deadlines, initially responsible for, but not restricted to, the Operations side of the business.
Annual Budget preparation and Monthly forecast process
Daily reporting & Target tracking
Responsible for site revenue accounting and analysis
Manage cashflow forecasting and reporting to tight deadlines
Produce headcount and payroll reports
Help maintain all ledgers
Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit completion
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) guidelines
Control Company bank accounts
Control expenditure versus budget
VAT and Tax reporting as required
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Action improvements to reporting processes, ensuring dependable and reliable processes are installed and adhered to
Help Mentor and develop the Finance team
Assist in the completion of quarterly & annual stock-takes
Manufacturing KPI's and Over and Under absorption techniques
Computation Excess and Obsolete inventory provision
Alongside the Quality team monitor Warranty returns and claims, identifying any financial risks to the business
Complete analysis, journal preparation and entry of monthly reports
Responsible for annual Standard Costing process
Factory Margin reporting within the plant
Supports their respective teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
Any other duties as may be required in order to ensure the efficient operation of the Company
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIMA / ACCA / ACA Part Qualified / Finalist
Excel - Advanced
Excellent Communications Skills due to finance business partnering
Possible Manufacturing Accounts experience
A desire for progression and to complete your Accountancy Qualification.
