Job Description
- Data cleansing for accounting data by ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are all up to data before Go live.
- Fixed assets testing in SAP.
- Tooling testing in SAP
- Stock in Transit (for allocated companies);
- Preparation and uploading of Balance sheet
- Ad hoc tasks as required across whole Finance function.
- Balance Sheet and Management Reporting
- Responsibility for ensuring reconciliation of key accounts including Stock in Transit, Ecommerce, Fixed Assets, Tooling accounts across the Group are completed per the month end timeline and ensuring a high-quality standard of reconciliations;
- Assist Head Office Financial Accountant in managing monthly close process;
- Processing and posting relevant journals charges.
- Ensuring fixed asset and tooling registers kept up to date;
- Other ad-hoc work as required.
- Tax and compliance
- Assist with the preparation of VAT submissions where required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent);
- Experience in financial reporting, preferably in international organization.
- Advance knowledge of Excel
- Experience of multi-currency environment.
- Ability to work with complex technical matters.
- Experience in communicating with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, and
- Detail oriented, constantly challenging and verifying information, able to deal with complex issues.
- Ability to take ownership of a project and see it through to completion.
- Pro-active, think outside the box attitude.
