Job Description
- Raising monthly rent demands and ad hoc non-tenancy invoices
- Setting out a process for any applicable service charges.
- Managing and reconciling the tenants deposits held in the Deposit Protection Scheme.
- Raising event sales invoices.
- Raising any ad hoc farming , woodland sales invoices as requested.
- Obtaining sub meter readings, developing a new process for calculating water re-charges and raising where applicable.
- Re-charging various costs periodically.
- Reviewing accounts assistant internal recharges calculations.
- Reporting in detail at property/unit level on Revenue and Direct costs for management team.
- Preparing VAT Returns for submission to HMRC under reporting.
- Calculating Partial Exemption where applicable.
- Attending year end farm stock take and reconciling to stock reports.
- Preparing year end audit files for small Trust entities.
- Assisting the Head of Finance with the preparation of annual budgets.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive management accounting experience, or equivalent considered.
- Industry-specific experience in property portfolio or similar.
- Discretion, accountability, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive approach and the ability to priorities and overcome challenges.
- A good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office including /advanced excel capabilities.
- Membership of a professional body, e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
