Job Description
  • Responsibility for the Purchase Ledger Invoicing and associated processes.
  •  Daily monitoring and maintenance of the Accounts Payable Outlook Inbox
  •  Investigating supplier queries and providing solutions
  •  Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
  •  Preparing and processing monthly Supplier Payment Runs
  •  Preparing and processing monthly Staff Expenses
  •  Updating contact details of customers – ensuring details are correct and costs are charged accurately
  • Matching and processing Purchase Orders on Sage and bespoke company software package
  •  Working to deadlines and ensuring tasks are managed accordingly.
  •  Providing support to the wider team when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail
  •  Ability to meet deadlines
  •  Happy to take on Ad-Hoc tasks
  •  Self starter, who can work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Practical experience in Purchase Ledger with understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
  •  Strong, accurate Data Entry Skills.
  •  Strong all-round IT Skills, including excel.
  •  Committed to meet month end deadlines.
