Job Description
- Posting in the weekly and monthly journals
- Management of both the Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers
- Processing and production of the purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Aged debtor reports
- Credit Control
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparation of the weekly payment runs
- Daily (multi-currency) bank reconciliations
- Processing of the employee expenses
- Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts and yearly statutory accounts
- Ad hoc projects and reporting
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Have One-two years of previous experience working in a Finance role (ideally across both the purchase and sales ledger)
- Have a finance degree or be actively studying toward their AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Prior working knowledge of the finance system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Good at building relationships with people
