Reporting to the Finance Manager the successful candidate will be giving the opportunity to contribute to the quarterly close US GAAP reporting process and coordinate reporting deliverables to the Group team, contribute to balance sheet reconciliation and controls processes, supervise the day to day activities of the junior team members and provide updates to the Finance Manager, review accounting policies in compliance with UK and US GAAP requirements, prepare relevant accounting memos to be presented to the executive management , Board committee when required, contribute to the preparation of annual reports and regulatory returns, contribute to the implementation of process improvements across the finance division and contribute to the development and enhancement of the control environment for the Finance Team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicants will need to be qualified accountants with previous insurance financial reporting experience gained either with an insurance business or a Big 4 accountancy firm, have strong technical accounting skills including UK and US GAAP reporting, and have strong excel skills.
