Job Description
- Preparation of company financial statements, corporation tax computations
- Preparation of sole trader accounts, partnership accounts and rental accounts;
- Preparation of Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships, calculation of income tax and capital gains tax liabilities, filing of Tax Returns with HM Revenue and Customs;
- Preparation of Accountant References for lenders and landlords;
- Checking HM Revenue and Customs' Statements of Account, tax calculations and PAYE Coding Notices;
- Liaisons with clients and HM Revenue and Customs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- You will be fully, part qualified or qualified by experience with proven experience within a general practice, experience of the property sector will be advantageous but not essential.
- You will technically up to date.
- You possess excellent communication skills and have strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Sage or a similar accountancy software package.
- You will all possess a "will do" attitude and have a desire to succeed.
