Provide insight on sales to the team to support the sales strategy and decision-making
Provide analysis and performance insights to the Interim that support the growth strategy
Responsible for management reporting for projects, successes and issues on all finance matters.
Work with the external accountants to ensure payroll is accurate
Manage sales and purchase invoices, ensuring all bills and invoices are paid, up to date, reconciled and recorded
Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayments.
Manage bank accounts, ensuring sufficient liquidity, monitoring cash flow and produce cash flow forecasts
Manage and monitor the day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, processing payments, HMRC processes including VAT returns, Customs Duty and Excise, bank reconciliations
Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayments
Manage and co-ordinate monthly reporting, budgeting and re-forecasting
Ensure the business meets all of its statutory and compliance obligations
Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices by identifying and implementing systems, policies and processes to improve financial monitoring and analysis
Identify cost-reduction opportunities that exist for the business
Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication
Develop relationships with external contacts such as accountants/auditors and HMRC
