Job Description
- Track the financial performance of the Charity against budget monthly, providing monthly financial reports, forecasts and commentary to the Trustees and individual reports to managers
- Maintain and review the asset register and inventory
- Oversee payroll, procurement, and bookkeeping
- ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly finance reports and annual accounts
- To oversee the annual audit and be the auditor’s main point of contact
- Oversee the payroll scheme, including liaison with the Pension Providers
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Recognized accountancy qualification or part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIPFA, AAT level 4)
- Relevant accounting and management experience
- Experience of working in the Charity Sector and thorough understanding of the reporting requirements
- Excellent technical accounting skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
