Job Description
- Build and maintain new financial reporting models and reports for the wider finance team to use - ensuring reports are fit for purpose and conform to best practice.
- Contribute to continuous development and enhancement of the monthly management reporting pack to support management decision-making.
- Develop budget analysis to check budget submissions to facilitate discussion within the budget review and meetings.
- Prepare reporting and presentations for the Executive Board and Trustees within prescribed deadlines and in the formats required.
- Deliver core forecast reporting to agreed deadlines - management and divisional reports.
- Build analytical reporting to support identification of key forecast trends, provide business performance insight and analysis.
- Improve reporting and analytical skills within the Finance team, by providing training in spreadsheet skills and analysis techniques.
- Design and deliver improvement in reporting practices across the department by development in line with best practice policies and guidelines.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or part-qualified individual with strong technical finance knowledge and the necessary reporting skills gained through experience within a financial function of a complex multi-site organization.
- You must have strong systems skills with substantial experience in complex data manipulation and possess the ability to analyses numbers critically, extracting key information for management reports that support decision making.
