Job Description
- Assume responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and financial advisory services.
- Review and oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.
- Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting professional development.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand the client base and actively participating in networking events.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong academic background.
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to manage and inspire a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client relationships.
