Job Description
Lead the capital accounting and collection fund activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate the closure of year-end accounts, VAT, and government returns
Manage the financial accounting and treasury management functions, providing guidance and support to the team.
Oversee payroll operations, bank reconciliations, insurance, car leasing functions, government returns, revenue accounts, and utilities coding.
Take charge of bank reconciliations and effectively manage banking and payroll contracts.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all government returns.
Collaborate with the Senior Financial Accountant on coding enquiries, Statement of Accounts production, and BACS processing.

A degree or relevant experience in a similar environment. Membership in an appropriate professional body (CCAB) or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable.
Proven experience in supporting the closure of accounts process for a large multi-disciplinary organization, resulting in compliant Statutory Statement of Accounts without qualification.
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards, including Code of Practice on Local Government Accounts.
