Job Description

Job specification:

  • Mid-month/end of month customer statement runs.
  • Reconciliation of accounts to ensure that all invoices have been actioned by the customer.
  • Purchase Ledger - processing of purchase invoices, coding, electronic filing.
  • Preparation of weekly suggested payment runs.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Processing staff expenses.
  • Contact with customers to chase outstanding debts.
  • Monitor accounts inbox.
  • Maintain monthly charges tracker.
  • Ad hoc tasks requested by the Finance Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Person specification:

  • Experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, and ability to use multiple different systems.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to multi-task.
  • Good telephone and email manner.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build good relationships with other staff and customers.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
  • Positive can-do attitude with willingness to learn new skills.
